Harry in Your Pocket on TCM tonight…

Boy, I haven’t seen this since I was a wee kid, but that’s because I can’t remember it ever being shown during that time. The film is about of crew of pickpockets and follows the usual set-up of the canny old pro (James Coburn) and the cocky young up and comer (Michael Sarrazin–whatever happened to him?).

When I saw this I was too young to judge how good it was, but I like these sorts of crime films, and I like Coburn, and again, it very rarely shows anywhere. So I thought I’d mention it.

It plays tonight at 9:00 CST, so it’s on right after Mythbusters. So that works out well.

TCM is a great channel.

I will always think kindly of Michael Sarrazin. He played the Creature in Frankenstein: The True Story which is one of the better Frankenstein adaptions.

And I think his is the only “Unveil the visage of the monster” scene which generated actual shock in this viewer.

Haven’t seen that one in ages, either. I looked over at IMDb and it looks like Mr. Sarrazin is still working – mainly TV stuff.

Wow, Groundstar Conspiracy! I haven’t seen that one in ages, either!
