Christmas Watch Party tomorrow!

It’s now a tradition! Let’s watch an awful Christmas movie to hail the yuletide season*. I hope to see you there.

(The film was suggested by–by which I mean, I fobbed off the responsibility onto her–by our own GalaxyJane.)

    A Holiday Classic. I can't wait. I mean I can and will.

  • Gamera977

Yeah, a holiday classic, like month old rock-hard fruitcake…

  • 🐻 bgbear_rnh

Like tangled Christmas lights with only half lighting up.

  • Gamera977

Like those godawful inflatable Christmas lawn decorations that stay inflated one day and spend the rest of the month lying around the lawn flat as roadkill.

  • Eric Hinkle

How about those skeletons as lawn decorations, with the owners dressing them in different outfits for every holiday?

  • 🐻 bgbear_rnh

I leave our skeletons out all year but have them fully dressed to resemble scarecrows. Bones only exposed in October. We also do not live on a regular residential street, it is semi-rural.

  • Eric Hinkle

Where I live it's almost all suburbs now; used to be semi-rural. And people still have those skeletons in their yard or on their porch all year long. I used to wonder if it was some weird political thing before I learned it was just a trend.

Hmmmm… well, I imagine it won't be Santa Visits the Land of Mother Goose, a movie so legendarily awful that it once drove the likes of even someone like Michael Weldon to declare, "I dare anyone to sit through it."

    But… ya never know.

(GalaxyJane mwahahahas somewhere off in the darkness.)

  • Jabootu

Yeah, Land of Mother Goose…ain't great.

  • Gamera977

I watched about 2/3rds of the Mexican 'Santa Claus' movie the other night and fell asleep before the end. That's enough Christmas torture for this year.

  • Geez guys, what sort of sadist do you take me for? Just remember that I have to sit through it too…

  • I mean, I'm not Jeff.

  • 🐻 bgbear_rnh

    1st class.
