If seek revenge you should dig two graves. Or, in this case, a lot more than that. The central idea stands, though, as the seeking of revenge, no matter how justified, leads to damnation. One of the last iconic monsters, practical, of course, and design and built by (if I’m remembering correctly) Stan Winston studios. Great movie, it’s really captures that folklore feel, Lance Henriksen is just spectacular in it, etc. There were a couple of negliable sequels which nobody remembers, and that’s fine. The original film stands well enough alone. Although I look forward to the inevitable Pumpkinhead vs Predator movie.
