Monster of the Day #3531

One thing I’ve noticed is that although movie posters for cheapie monster movies are notorious for exaggerating the monsters to make them look more amazing, AIP didn’t bother with that for Paul Blaisdell monsters. They presented them more or less as they appeared in the films, because, you know, they were actually amazing already.

The professor's new growth formula (because Gilligan spilled something into it) got out of hand.

It is a giant crab, why call the Ghost Busters? Maybe it was the talking gun. Had them confused.

If the title and poster came first, it's more likely that Paul Blaisdell created his work to look like the poster.

I think Corman was making his films independently and then AIP was releasing them, unlike house pictures like I Was a Teenage Werewolf.
