Man, Gorilla Grodd was older than I thought.

Why isn’t there a show adapting these crazy old pulp stories? That would be great. Netflix, get on it!

Genu Homo! I read that novel years ago. Fun weird story — basically, a whole busload of random people gets trapped inside a highway tunnel when the bomb is dropped. They get knocked unconscious by some bus-riding scientist’s experimental hibernation gas and awaken hundreds of thousands of years later into a world where the other primates have developed intelligence. From that point on it’s about them trying to survive in a world where imperialist baboons are trying to conquer the peaceful rationalist gorillas.
