So we watched a very good, quite fun blaxploitation film called Cotton Comes to Harlem. Unlike most of them it’s a fairly lighthearted affair. It was probably too good, in that the comments went dead for long stretches while people just watched the film. Still, I got a share a good flick with many people who hadn’t seen it, so it was successful on that front. Still, most of the time we’ll clearly stick with things that will allow people to yak as it plays. Thanks to everyone who attended.
