Amazon Watch Party: Scheduling the Date…

OK, I realize that with people spread out so much, we’re never going to find a time that works for everyone. I know we have people in EST, but not if we have people in PST. So I think the best we can do is maybe a Friday night at 9:00 PM EST, 8:00 CST, 7:00 MST, and, if there is anyone on the west coast, 6:00 PST. Again, I apologize that we can’t make this equally convenient for everyone.

Next is a date. Let’s vote on the date. I think maybe the best way is to say what day wouldn’t work for people I can chart that and hopefully we can serve everyone, or most everyone.

So….

Friday 17th (next Friday, might be too soon)

Friday 24th (two weeks)

Friday Oct 1st (Three weeks)

Let’s pick a date, and then we can choose a movie.

    I vote for Friday the 24th. This will allow people to decide if they want to participate, and give some time for work-life scheduling.

    As for movie, I think a firm hand is called for and perhaps the one organizing the event (ie, Ken) should say “This is the movie.” The 24th date would allow some time for nit-picking and (if a majority say No) an alternate selection.

    I think the 17th is too close, and the other dates are too kind of hazily in the future. But then I don’t have a life, and others might….

    I’d prefer we not do October 1st as I may have a conflict of schedule, but if that’s what we do we’ll see how it goes. Either of the September ones would be my preference.

    Actually, as far as I’m aware, you just get an invitation, follow the link, and sign into your Prime acounnt. That should be it.

    Yeah, that’s how my friends and I have done it. Someone puts a link in Facebook Messenger and everyone else just clicks in. I usually log into Prime beforehand so I don’t have to dink around.
