Monster of the Day #3201

Monsters! Bikinis! Rock ‘n Roll! This film has it all. I like that the model features the old school hot dog mouth too, rather than the retconned fumetti fangs. Check out also the (probably out of stock) Amok Time figure, which has a cheeky gap at the ankles between the monster suit and the monster feet. That figure is fantastic, but it DOES go with the fang month. Very disappointing; otherwise terrific though.

Happy Friday, everyone!

Lol, I prefer the ‘hot dog’ mouth! And the bare ankle detail on the Amok Time figure rock.

Glencoe makes a diver figure, they call it a ‘U.S. Navy SEAL’ that I’d thought for some time of adding a small plastic bag to the head and draping him with some green seaweed looking stuff to make a Portuguese Man o’ War man from ‘Sting of Death’.

    Ha, that would be great!

Don’t when I’ll get to it but I’ll give it a shot!

I’m guessing that the teeth were easier to pop out of a mass-produced mold than the ‘hot dogs’ would be. That’s my theory as to why the toy looks the way it does.

‘Party Beach’ is such a terrible movie, but what a fandom it’s got.

But it’s a terrible, WONDERFUL movie.
