Monster of the Day #3190

Weirdly, the most dynamic pose of any Aurora monster model kit went ot the Phantom of the Opera, perhaps indicating his origin as a silent film character.  I never thought about it, but the line really was very Chaney-centric. Lon Sr was represented by both the Phantom and the Hunchback (fittingly a victim in his model), and Lon Jr via Larry Talbot and Kharis, which appeared to be sculpted to resemble his version of the character (sans Lon Jr’s biggish gut, though).

  • I love how all the characters presented here seem to be reacting to that cute little rat. Even the green thing at Erik’s feet seems to be saying “OH MY GOD GET IT AWAY FROM ME!”
