Off topic: just for those who care, but there are new trailers up for Shin Ultraman (in case it needs saying Ultraman by the guys who did Shin Godzilla) and Godzilla: Singular Point. Lots of Rodan in the last one. Also, it looks like Jet Jaguar is going to have a large role in the series.

Godzilla, though, has yet to make an appearance, interestingly enough.

I think one complaint about the Godzilla anime movies Netflix did a while ago (aside from the fact that they sucked) is that they didn’t really feature the other monsters. So they might be trying to placate fans with the ads for the new ones.

Shin Ultraman! Although Ultraman was never dark, while Godzilla obviously was.

Oof! That sucks. When I had my first one in Germany the Doc told me to drink a liter of beer a day to prevent another. So if that helps….

Not to belittle what you endured and the advice you got, but this reminds me of an old Pennsylvania Dutch treatment for rheumatism that my father told me about: ‘You put some dandelion roots in whiskey and drink whenever you feel pain.’

I asked him if that actually cured rheumatism. He said, ‘Not really, but after a while you don’t care.’

Yowsers. Hopefully things will improve for you!

I went to check out the trailer, and aw man, it’s CGI. I should’ve expected that after Shin Godzilla, and it actually looked pretty good there, but this looks like video game sprites from the PS3 or something. Also, the Science Patrol has real guns? Where are the laser guns and the dreaded Spider Shot? I’m willing to give it a chance, but my expectations are a bit low right now. Definitely more excited about Singular Point right now.

I have to say, the Ultraman cartoon Netflix had a few years ago looked awful.
