Cullen mentioned these yesterday. Sadly, Mr. Nima doesn’t have a ton of work. Quick, a Patreon for a horror movie poster book! I’d pledge.

Friday the 13th, a series about this poor guy Jason who has a big shrimp on his head and keeps getting violently attacked by people. Nothing says Jason like a shovel.

I’ve never seen this, but if anything were to get me to watch it, it would be this poster.

    I think the top one is about ten-year old Jason cleaning snow out of people’s driveways to earn enough money to buy a real hockey mask when his big sister (played by Louise Fletcher) goes berserk and starts stabbing him.

    The lower one just confuses the hell outta me. Looks like we’ve got a cross-dressing dude in a red bra ripping his head open to let a bunch of bugs out. Meanwhile the Frankenstein Monster is holding his spare head with an extra arm in it’s mouth while he shoots lightning (or is it smoke) out of his other hand.

    OT, but IMDB is about to worsen its interface yet again. Another reason I quit relying on it years ago.

    What’s going on in the top image just to the left of the main action? Is it legs from a skirt (or possibly a sweet potato???) and some kind of insect appendage curling around? Yesterdays MOTD also had some weird things going on in the middle ground I couldn’t figure out.

    I like that in the second image there is a single stalk of corn in the middle of a graveyard. Hey, at least they got ONE element from the actual movie in there, even if it looks like an afterthought. “Oh yeah, CORN! Uh, should I include some children too or no?”
