I found…this. I have no idea what to make of it. What’s with the guy killed with the pickaxe? Is Freddy a murderous librarian now? It this a movie poster? Just a painting? Weird.

    Just for fun, I did a search for “Makosa Nima.” Some fairly bizarre images come up, including posters (I’m guessing) for “Jason Goes to Hell” (Jason has hair like Johnny Bravo now), “Jurassic Park” and a really insane one for “Children of the Corn Part 3.”

    That one…there’s a guy smoking a cigarette. In his other hand, he holds a giant severed head. The severed head holds a severed forearm in his mouth. A woman splits her head so bugs can come out.

    There’s a single corn plant, just for continuity I guess.

    I still don’t know if “Makosa Nima” is a person or a cult.

    Apparently these are from Ghana, there’s a whole Pinterest section. There’s a poster for “Mrs. Doubtfire” which shows her gorily plunging a broomstick through some teenager’s head.

    That must have been in the extended director’s cut.

    I saw that and was slotting it for tomorrow. I agree, it’s quite fab.

    This makes me wonder what movies made in Ghana are like. Do their family movies have people be brutally slaughtered in them? To me, that’s less a ‘family’ movie and more a ‘Manson Family’ movie.

  • I’m probably completely alone in this, but despite the gore, this reminds me of a Mystery Novel cover. “Freddy Kruger heads to Valentine Bluffs to learn truth behind the decades old mining massacre. But will he become the next victim when Harry Warden seemingly starts a fresh series of killings?”
