Monster of the Day #3127

AT&T seems to be doing work in the area, so we’ll see if my Internet goes down again like it did yesterday. (Most annoying because I don’t have a cell phone, and my land line is through my Internet connection (!), meaning I can’t call the problem in until I get to work. Which leaves the support team flummoxed, although they did remotely fix the problem.)

Anyway, man, it’s nearly Halloween! Doesn’t seem like it, does it. Adults (and I’m one of them) have been kind of stealing the holiday from kids. I wonder if this weirdness, no trick or treating in much of the countries, and not even parties, will speed that process up.

Anyway…skeleton!!

Maybe the adults have been appropriating Halloween because it’s a much nicer way of being scared than what happens the rest of the year.

Sorry to hear about your internet woes but cool skelly!

Jack waited a little too long for folks to throw coins for his one-man-band.

Adults ‘appropriating’ Halloween doesn’t bother me as much as the ones that suggest it has to be used to advance the ‘correct’ politico-social agenda. We’ve got a whole book on how to do that in a local library. Just to give you an idea of its age and level of class, they suggested making costumes of a sexually assaulted Monica Lewinsky to publicly shame her for criticizing Slick Willy. I find that idea kind of of disgusting myself.

  • Ken_Begg

    You’re certainly right about that.

Ladies and gentlemen, your Spookyville High School Marching Band!

  • thunderclancat

    Ew.
