The copy of Return of the Ape Man is a bit soft, but hey, that’s how it looked on TV back in the day. It’s a fun movie, goofy as heck (the image of Lugosi in a tux walking late night “city” streets holding a lit blowtorch whilst looking for a caveman is so weird it edges into actual art), and only runs an hour. Plus it has John Carradine in it.
