Monster of the Day #2040

These are repeats, but I thought it would be nice to spend a week or two shouting out to Amazon Prime, who has been quietly adding a LOT of schlock cinema over the last year or so. Since I basically subscribe for the free 2 day shipping, the gigantic amount of streaming video they offer is pretty much just a bonus for me. Still, I really hope people are discovering these old movies this way.

From this I assume they’ve acquired a lot of the old Sam Sherman catalogue. Good for them.

    I don’t remember the photo. Same monster from a different angle? Looking forward to finding out what this is. I’ve been watching a lot of terrible vintage movies on Amazon Prime. I watched ‘Ghost Galleon’ last week. Gosh was it awful but glorious at the same time. Biggest complaint I had was they killed off the most attractive actress halfway though the film :(

    I looked this up on Wikipedia. When I saw that the first line in the plot description was “A woman running naked through the jungle…” I knew it was worthy of Jabootu.

    I watched this last night and oh yeah it belongs on Jabootu! A badly done monster and a fair bit of nudity and I still wanted to doze off.

    And I now know what Rock refers to as ‘Thob-O-Vision’ although in my case it was more like ‘Migraine-Vision’.
