Interesting that Edgar Wallace’s name is the largest on the poster. The only other author I can think of who’s name would be similarly touted would be Stephen King. Maybe Shakespeare. Can you guys think of any others? Zane Grey?

Well, the Germans made dozens of film and TV Wallace adaptions during this period, so many that they ran out of Edgar Wallace titles and started using ones from Edgar’s son Bryan.
