Monster of the Day #1897

These aren’t very Lost in Space-ish, but man, are they better than the show. (These two observations may not be entirely coincidental.)

That has got to be the weirdest SF dragon I’ve ever seen. But I’d love a movie that had a scene like this.

Well frankly it’s kinda hard to top a two-headed, fire-breathing, space dragon with eyestalks.

I hope our hero has given that beer a good shake before he throws it at the dragon.

  • Does the “Redshirt Rule” from Star Trek apply here?

  • KeithB

What are the flyboys shooting at? Looks like more interesting stuff is behind the rock

  • Ericb

True, though drawing a cool monster is much easier than constructing one on a 1960s TV budget (granted that both The Outer Limits and Star Trek managed to do a much better job and LiS).

  • Marsden

“First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.”

Not if he’s a lead character…Re; Montgomery Scott.
