Again, I don’t love these, but you can’t knock the puppets or set design.

I saw this once, was again impressed by the design work, but found the story dull and predictable and never really felt the need to re-watch it. I felt the same way about The Dark Crystal but always have the nagging feeling I’m missing something, so I rewatch it from time to time.

I haven’t watched this one in years.

I have, however, listened to some of Bowie’s songs from the soundtrack. Man, that guy was good.

The only reason I’ve watched this more than once is because David Bowie is wonderful, as are his songs for it. Otherwise, I just don’t find it particularly compelling.
