Monster of the Day #1642

In case I didn’t sell yesterday’s cartoon, the Bride of Dracula episode of Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, well enough, well, did I mention Dracula’s sidekicks are a Wolfman and a Frankenstein Monster.

Watch out for that twist ending, though!

By the way, Dracula, good luck on falling for one of the like three woman in the Marvel Universe who can emit sunlight. Moron.

  • I love this episode way more than I should. I’ve subjected the kids to it too.

Who wouldn’t want to marry into that family!?!?!

And I think by now the count has proved himself not to be the brightest of monsters. I mean the whole ‘if I spell my name backwards no one will figure out who I am’ thing for example.

I’m not sure any relationship with a lady who can give you third-degree burns with a kiss is a good idea. Unless you’re the superhero Asbestos Man.

  • This post has a distressing lack of Firestar.

She can emit sunlight, yeah, but it took her the entire episode to remember she could do that. So Drac wasn’t doing TOO badly.

He did better in the comics when he tried vamping Storm of the X-men. It was amusing to watch the ToD Dracula smacking the entire team around with ease.

The Firestorm side of the family thought it odd when the invitations declared it “It’s a Nice Day for a Night Wedding”, but it all worked out, he worked nights, she worked days so there was always someone home with the kids.

The Frankenstein is quite handsome, compared to how he usually looks.

  • Flangepart

Wolfman looks like he sings Berry White on the side.

  • Flangepart

    Yeah. No neck bolts.

  • Gamera977

Larry Talbert’s brother Barry (White) Talbert???

    I hear he’s Wolfman Jack’s favorite singer…

  • Gamera977

With the pale look and the lines I thought at first he was supposed to be the Mummy.
