Pretty spiffy. I’m a little surprised this doesn’t have one of those “Because You Demanded It!” blurbs.

Looking at Marvel’s sales today, I don’t think “Because You Demanded It!” is much of a factor for them.

Dammit, Dracula never fought Ghost Rider. A Gene Colan-drawn Ghost Rider battle would have been fantastic. I Demand It!

    This is even more amusing if you know the backstory of the Russell (the Marvel werewolf) family curse. One of his ancestors staked Drac back in the day, and on the way out finds a sweet young thing begging to be freed. He does so and then discovers why she wanted to feel the lovely moonlight on her face.

  • He’s “rescuing” her the same way you “rescue” a ha sandwich from a hungry dog.

    Today it’d more likely be, “Because We Felt Like It, So There!… Wait, Where Is Everybody Going?”
