Monster of the Day #1549

Still have a few of these left, so let’s use ’em, they’re pretty sweet. I leave for Texas on Thursday, so I’ll see some of you next weekend.

  • Gamera977

I’m a little confused as to what Tarzan guy (or is he Fred Flintstone) in the foreground is doing? Is he holding up a pen or is he flipping the giant off? And why is he dressed that way? Annnddd is that Apollo Creed there with him???

  • Don’t you see? He’s got a knife! That giant’s dead meat, I tell you. Dead. Meat.

If only Japan had the proper cutlery, they’d never have to worry about Godzilla again.

  • bgbear_rnh

and where did these “soldiers” learn to shoot?

  • bgbear_rnh

This monster’s special power is that it distorts the appearance of scale. None of the people shown look like they could fit into the vehicles or buildings he is crushing.

  • Eric Hinkle

This is India, so that’s probably Mowgli and not Tarzan.

But like you I have to wonder what he thinks he’s going to accomplish with that penknife.

  • Eric Hinkle

Is this the Hindi version of ‘Amazing Colossal Man’?

  • Gamera977

Ahhh, yes a knife! Or maybe Mowgli has a lighter!!! ‘Stay away mighty giant or I shall burn you with my tiny fire!!!!!!’

  • Wade Harrell

Also, the building he’s pushing over appears to be in the background! He can distort perspective too!

  • CaptNemo

The ankles, men! Go for the ankles. That’ll fix’m.

Actually, the soldier on the left has the right idea. Go for his…uh…vitals.

  • bgbear_rnh

Yes, but he can’t decide whether to run or shoot.

  • Ken_Begg

Yes, the skewed scale of everything was my favorite *ahem* aspect of this one.

  • Marsden

That’s the over the shoulder firing stance.

He’s so good he doesn’t need the mirror.
