Monster of the Day #1547

Dude! Not during my dance number! Not cool!

Reverse-Whack-a-Mole

Monster zombie scientist with bloody hand, overturned cars, disco man cowering in terror, and an uninterrupted farmer in the background working his field. That is dedication.

  • “NO! NO! STAY AWAY!”

“Now watch in helpless terror as I drizzle motor oil on your head from my hands. MUHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

“CAN’T YOU SEE THIS IS A NEW SUIT?! YOU MONSTER! YOU FIEND! YOU MONSTROUS FIEND!”

  • I just noticed something: Doesn’t that car look like part of it is on the other side of the horizon?

  • bgbear_rnh

Looks like it might be a scene from the Hindi version of “Dukes of Hazzard”.

  • Eric Hinkle

At least the monster is a snazzy dresser. No rags for this guy.

  • KeithB

Why are all these Indian dudes in Amarillo, TX?*
    * The location of Cadillac Ranch

  • bgbear_rnh

They get confused by that “Indian” misidentification too.

  • Flangepart

O…kay! Thanks for that image, bg. Tis wont to amuse.

  • bgbear_rnh

It fits though. The monster is dressed in white like Boss Hogg, there is always road construction going on in Hazzard county, cars flying. I rest my case.

  • Wade Harrell

Giant mad scientist terrorizes disco-era Gene Shalit!

I’m enjoying these, crude but colorful. They remind of of the freak show posters at the county fair that terrified me as a kid.

  • bgbear_rnh

Another amusing Indian art thing to look up when you need something to smile about, Indian firework packaging. I wish I could post some.

  • Ken_Begg

It’s just like regular Dukes of Hazzard, except each episode has 90 minutes of dance numbers.

  • Eric Hinkle

I just found some online. They got lots of pretty girls.

  • Beckoning Chasm

    “Everybody was kung-fu fighting….”

  • Gamera977

Damn, I can’t read a word in Indian but if the comic is as bat-guano inside as the cover I’d just like to look at the photos.

  • Gamera977

I think I’m going to show all these covers to my gaming group and try to convince them to do a Bollywood game.

  • The Rev.

Same reason I watched Hanuman and the Seven Ultra Brothers. I don’t understand a word of the language, but the batshittery spoke for itself. Well, that and giant monster wrestling is a universal language.
