Although I’m not nearly as conversant with his work as Bill Paxton’s, this week also say the passing of Neil Fingleton, formerly the tallest man in Britain. As often happened with people that tall, he died much too young, at 36. Mr. Fingleton appeared in Doctor Who and Game of Thrones, among other things.
On a far happier note, Fox finally seems to have nailed a good superhero movie. Logan is currently getting a 93% positive rating at Rotten Tomatoes, so I might actually have to see that one.
