Monster of the Day #1515

A rather run of the mill Dracula (and not even Dracula in the Euro version, I think), but still head and shoulders above the other two we’ve featured lately. Does he actually fight the Frankenstein Monster? I don’t recall the film that well, but I don’t think so.

Franco’s film is clearly the worst (saying something, given Adamson’s). This is the best, for what that’s worth, although you could make an argument that Adamson’s ineptitude makes his the most entertaining.

If your dentist was also a vampire.

Actually the convenience of night appointments could be good for working folk.

And instead of money, he just takes a pint of blood or so.

What does he floss with, #7 fishing line?

  • Rock Baker

No. As I recall it, he doesn’t fight the Monster. The real match that we get (if I remember correctly, the film doesn’t remain very vivid in the memory) is between the werewolf and the mummy! Let’s face it, the original ASSIGNMENT: TERROR title is much better, and much more accurate than the TV title of DRACULA VS FRANKENSTEIN.

If Dracula was a politician he’d look like this. I bet he’d own the Congressional graveyard shift on C-Span.
