Yuck. Flangepart Gator related…but which one? I don’t recall this in ALLIGATOR… Rock Baker Wasn’t there a video remake of EATEN ALIVE? This could fit that. Rock Baker So THIS is what really happened to Fred Kruger! If the parents of Elm Street had only waited a couple more minutes, Kruger would’ve been stalking the dreams of young alligators instead of those of their children! The Rev. Flangepart was close. This is from the VASTLY inferior sequel, Alligator II: The Mutation. If you haven’t seen it, you are missing absolutely nothing. Watch the original again instead. Rock Baker Actually, the film isn’t a total loss. For the most part it boasts a decent script and characters. It’s major flaw is the ridiculous subplot involving a cartoonishly evil real estate developer. That aside, it’s fairly decent drive-in entertainment. Having said that, I had no clue this shot was from that particular movie! The Rev. Interesting. I remember it as boring and cliched, with not nearly enough alligator stuff to be worthwhile. Same case the second chance I gave it. It’s possible I’d be more forgiving nowadays with all the horrid things I’ve seen, but I’m not in a hurry to find out. Rock Baker I may grade on a more generous curve, but I remember the film entertained me in a legitimate way. Seems like it was leagues above those cheapo Sci-Fi Channel movies back when those still at least resembled actual movies. Faint praise, I know, but there you go.
