I wonder if that’s why you never see obese vampires? The whole effort involved in getting enough victims to stay topped off just leads the vampire hunters to their (coffin) doors even faster?

Def by Temptation didn’t have a vampire, and the monster was female, so that’s not what this is. It could be The Midnight Hour. (Levar Burton was in that, right?) Although the main vampire there was female, but with so many people getting vamped this could be from it.
