Monster of the Day #1346

Haven’t seen this one.

  • I haven’t seen it either (assuming I guessed right), but it calls me… it calls me…

It calls me three different shades of idiot for wanting to see it. But hey! That’s nothing I don’t know by this point…

  • bgbear_rnh

    Dag or Norb?

  • Flangepart

ZOMBEAVER…and it’s just like what the name implies. Dumb, riffable and yet not taking itself too seriously.

  • kgb_san_diego

Worth watching? I am with Cullen — this thing calls to me in a dumb, college bro sort of way…

  • bgbear_rnh

We have to put all our faith in one man. One man we know who can be hard on the beavers. Call Ward Cleaver.

  • Eric Hinkle

“Zombeaver”? Seriously? Someone made a movie called “Zombeaver”?

Is it any relation to the film ZOOMBIES? It sounds to me like a crossover between NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and DAY OF THE ANIMALS.

  • Flangepart

My guess, that be what triggered this…thing. That, and the obvious puns that explode across the film like conceptual shrapnel.

  • Eric Hinkle

I looked at the trailers for ZOMBEAVERS and ZOOMBIES on YouTube, and while the former looks idiotic, the latter seems… okay. In a dumb way. For a movie by The Asylum.

  • Acethepug

“I call the big one Bitey.”

  • The Rev.

I found this to be pretty fun. You do have to get through the opening scene which features KOMEDY~! but once the zombeavers start doing their thing it picks up, with a couple of surprises as to where it goes and how. I’d be willing to watch this again; maybe this fall with Ken and the Drauts, if I’m able to come down to Houston pre-Fest.

  • David Charney

    Hey, nice beaver!

  • Rodford Smith

Is _ZOOMBIES_ about undead robot sweepers?

  • Eric Hinkle

Monkeys are being experimented on with the Zombie Virus at a zoo, go berserk, get loose, and turn every other animal into a maddened flesh eater out for fresh human.
