The end is near…

Or more accurately, the wait is over. I just drove to my old workplace and picked up my Cthulhu Wars second wave of stuff. It arrived in three boxes weighing in at over 46 lbs. I’m afraid to open all of them. Still, congrats to Sandy Petersen and Co., and congrats to all my fellow Kickstarter subscribers whose patience has been so horrifically rewarded.

Congratulations and happy gaming to everyone involved.

And I apologize if this is a sensitive question, but is Mister Petersen still involved with Chaosium? I haven’t seen any of their game books for years now where I live, which is a shame. I loved getting their books.

I really don’t know, but I’d guess not. Not directly anyway. Running his own gaming company is eating up the vast majority of his time, I’m imagine.

    Big congrads to Sandy!

Just because it seems to fit, I just read a short story with a thinly disguised Sandy Petersen as a main character “Peter Sanderson”

  • Chad R.

I think Sandy sits on the board of directors of Chaosium and has some sort of elder statesman role as a creative consultant, but he doesn’t have anything to do with the day-to-day running of the company.

    Still don’t have my stuff.

    But happy for you.

Sandy is helping out Chaosium with the 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu RPG Kickstarter that got held up with issues.
