This is another Italian “ugly vampire” film (although he’s not really a vampire, I don’t think). Much like our previous subject, this one revolves around a male character who transforms into a hideous monster and kills in order to restore/maintain the beauty of a woman he’s obsessed with. This one is just science-fictional rather than being gothic horror. Now that I think about it, there’s actually a fairly large body of movies featuring that sort of thing, with either the men or the women themselves killing others to maintain/restore their youth/beauty.
