So does “invincible” mean that that eventually Dagar will come out on top? Because it looks like he has been “vincered” here.

Based on the tagline, it sounds like Dagar is working FOR the thirst-crazed vampires? And there’s a “life-giving blood plant” ? Does that mean the vampires don’t have to kill if he can get this plant for them? I have to admit I’d have to pick this up on the news stand after reading that pitch, I have questions!

Really, is this a plant, as in vegetable, that produces blood*, or a place where they manufacture/process blood?
