By this point (1948) Sam Merwin, Jr. was the editor. He later wrote the parallel worlds novel THE HOUSE OF MANY WORLDS. The 1983 Ace edition included its sequel THREE FACES OF TIME.
The ISFDB says the cover story was “The Ionian Cycle”, and the cover artist was Earle Bergey. His signature is under the heroine’s right elbow.
