Monster of the Day #1028

The poor fellow just went to pieces.

  • Flangepart

Yup…walking skeletons are so impossible, I can’t get scared. Only if a being (Say, Green Lantern) is using a telekenetic force to ‘puppetize’ the bones, I ain’t impressed.
Kinda like how I feel about zombies, what with all that decayed muscle.

  • If there’s one complaint I have about this movie, it’s that this scene kind of comes out of left field. If he an undead like Jerry? Does Jerry reanimate his corpse? Some sort of set up should have been done before it happened (though I can’t imagine where they could have put it or what it could be.)

  • Beckoning Chasm

I always figured he was “something else,” something other than a vampire. A familiar, or someone like Renfield, who Jerry had been kept alive a long time as a servant. He was able to move about in the sunlight as I recall.

  • Gamera977

Yeah, I just figured he was a ‘Renfield’ – somebody who Jerry paid to do things like guarding him during the day. I guess Jerry ‘gifted’ him with a few supernatural powers that made him not a vampire but not quite human either.

  • Gamera977

    It’s VOO-DOO Flangepart- VOO-DOO!!!

  • Flangepart

Do that VOO-DOO, that YOU-DOO, and win one for Headly lamar!

  • Flangepart

    Oh…kinda like a Paralegal.

  • Ericb

    or an intern

  • Petoht

I… don’t recognize this at all.

    But it looks pretty sweet.

  • bgbear_rnh

    yep

  • Rock Baker

I didn’t either at first, but I think this the vampire’s henchman as he was deteriorating in FRIGHT NIGHT.

  • Yup yup. Actually that movie might have a week’s worth of monstrous images.

  • Ken_Begg

Clearly he was a fractional lamia.

  • Gamera977

    That was the term!

I still like ‘intern vampire’ better though.

  • Acethepug

    Or a politician :P

  • Flangepart

    Like my Class reunion yearbook.

  • Marsden

    Harrrumpph!

  • Eric Hinkle

What, you went to one of ‘those’ schools, too? You have my sympathies, sir.
