Monster of the Day #1005

One of a couple of stories that revolves around other figures from the Bible. I wonder if Delilah was ever used; it seems inevitable.

It’s debatable if this features an actual monster, but the implication that Noah is using his collection of animals as an army of conquest is pretty terrific.

    That’s just seriously HUH!?! And I thought the other Samson comics were weird…

    Though I’ll admit it probably would have made a better film than the recent ‘Noah’- didn’t see it but everyone who did seems to think it was horrible.

    All the animals we have seen are mutants so these animals probably look like monsters to Samson.

    Look out Samson, those animals come in pairs and the Mrs probably wont be too happy.

    I have to hand it to the guy though to start out with the elephant and the loins, I think I’d start with the field mouse and work my way up.

    Personally I think it would have been more interesting to have Samson encounter the other ark- you know the one that sank with the griffons, dragons, unicorns, centaurs, etc on it.

  • But what will happen when Young Noah wakes up? That’s what I want to know.

    You guys have a point, maybe it’s best not to tangle with a small animal with sharp pointy teeth while wearing a toga.

    The lion looks like he wants to say “Dude, I you going to eat all that?” The zebra is thinking “crazy man got Jumbo, glad he didn’t get me”

    (the elephant looks like a odd mix of Indian and African elephant).

    Best to get the hard stuff out of the way first. It’s ok to be low on energy if you’re just fighting a groundhog.

    Huh? The story I heard from my father (born circa 1928) when I was a boy was that the unicorns were too busy playing in a field and that was why they didn’t get on the Ark.

    Mind, he also told me that when he was a boy he was told that killing robins was as bad as murdering a person.
