This must have been a nice change of pace for Mr. Kiel. Here he played a scientist (an alien one, to boot), instead of just a hulking menacing sidekick. As is often the case, he is thwarted when he learns a bit too much about what we humans call love.

    When I saw Richard Kiel live, Ted Cassidy had just died a few months earlier. Kiel said one of his own neighbors was shocked to see him come home alive after a movie location shoot.

    I do not know about a film/TV but, they did a commercial together. I think lite beer from Miller.

    THE HUMAN DUPLICATORS, exactly the sort of 60’s science fiction-spy movie cross I love so dearly. Add Hugh Beaumont as the M analog and stock cues from the 50’s Universals, to say nothing of an adorable leading lady, and you have a nearly perfect B movie formula. Sadly, I don’t have a copy yet. Does anyone know if this has gotten an official release on DVD?
