Long time Jabootu correspondent Sandra sent me a batch of Richard Kiel photos in honor of his passing. Mr. Kiel often played monsters because of his gigantic size. Quite often, however, they were pretty much just giants, saving on make-up and such.
Several of his actually overtly monstrous ones have already been featured here, such as his Serving man alien on the Twilight Zone, or the monster he played in The Phantom Planet. Here’s a more comical one, however.
