Then there was the time this happened….

And to think, Vinnie never worked with Gerry Anderson…

Things I Learned about the Seaview while watching Deadly Dolls (it’s on YouTube):

    1) No one on board the Seaview is all the concerned when civilian gear adrift is found in the ship’s Armory.
    2) But then, why would they, when the Armory hatch is left unsecured and unguarded (!!).
    3) Puppet shows featuring the ship’s officers beating each other with sticks is considered a fine bit of entertainment for the ship’s (very small) enlisted crew.
    4) Taking care of stray puppets is the XO’s job.

Gypsy would definitely loved one of those.

There’s a guy on another board who calls himself “The Nelson Puppet.” I knew it had to be from VttBotS, and now I know where.

Outside of the toy Seaview that shot torpedoes, most of the toys inspired by the series did not really catch on. Pictured is the Hasbro’s “My Seaview Buddy” doll along with its designer Anton Phibes.

Might as well paint the sub pink and transport a bunch of nurses.

  • Rock Baker

Funny, you’d think a shot like this would inspire SOME sort of comment…..

You think you are speechless now, you should have seen the execs at ABC back then.
