Monster of the Day #902

Normally I like a woman with dark mysterious eyes but we’re going a little too far this week!!!

Hey, one I know! It was interesting seeing this character spiral out of control like that.

It looks like she was the victim of the gag where someone uses a Sharpie on a passed out drunk only, the prankster was nearly as drunk and could not write anything readable.

I think the spinoff had a stronger cast overall, which is part of why I slightly preferred it. Alexis Denisof, Amy Acker and the late Andy Hallett were all great; and unlike Buffy, it didn’t seem like Angel was overshadowed by his “Scoobies” as much (might have been me, but I found Willow and Xander a lot more interesting than Buffy, at least until her resurrection storyline). The stories tended to hold me more as well, although I was tempted to give up during Season 4.

Both had great theme songs, at least.
