    If I’m not mistaken, this story was one of two reasons I never became an alter boy. At the time Chicago PBS started running serialized Doctor Who on Saturday mornings at the same time I was supposed to go out and learn what I needed to learn. As before this time the show ran only on late night Sundays and I adored the show, you can guess the inevitable outcome.

  • Not even an offer to teach me kung fu. If there had even been the remotes chance I could kick ass for the Lord… I probabaly still wouldn’t have become an alter boy. Doctor Who trumps a lot of things.
