Groan…back to life…..

Had a great time at B-Fest, which I’m sure is more than Galaxy “Stuck solo with Ken for 48 plus hours” can say. I’ll do a quick run-down on that soon. In sum, the program was quite good, albeit without any one super high or low light. The average of the movies was pretty good, though.

Back to work today, so I guess it’s time to throw off my Howard Hughes-esque crazy solitude. I hope everyone had a great couple of weeks. As a reminder, T(ween)-Fest in suburban Dallas is coming up on March 1st, so make your plane reservations, and if you need a place to crash, Sandy can usually provide at least rough accommodations. We’re working on the line-up now.

The sleeper wakes,or some such rot. With news to tell, like as not.

I was a bit worried, considering the water situation when I left, glad you are well.
And don’t listen to Ken “my company sucks” Begg, B-Fest was just as awesome as usual and he is just trying to make you all feel better about missing it. I, however, have no such compunctions. I was there, you weren’t, sucks to be you, Ha Ha Haaa.

Yep, that is my ever-subtle wife giving her subdued opinion. LOL!!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh… good news! I was seeing the nightmarish scene of Ken standing in his living room in water up to his knees surrounded by floating DVD and VHS tape cases…

You try to look on the good side. I was home for (most) of the really bitter, minus double digits under zero days. That allowed me to run the taps–except in the sink with the frozen drain, of course–and monitor things to make sure I didn’t end up with an inch of water on the floor. It’s a nervous day at work when you’re thinking about that all day.
