Still around…

Sorry about yesterday. I worked Saturday, and had yesterday off as I started B-Fest ‘break’ (which really isn’t a break until the Fest itself and then my time off afterward), so yesterday kind of seemed like Sunday to me and I forgot to post. So there.

Pity poor GalaxyJane, who do to various circumstances, is the only one coming in this year on my recognizance, which means she’s stuck with me for like three days straight. Never will a woman be happier to return to her family.

I hear the line-up is FINALLY up at www.b-fest.com, if anyone wants to give a general thumbs up or down. Please, no specific titles or anything. You guys can start a forum topic for that, if you want.

More snow last night, and more bitter cold coming. Yeah!

    Maybe next year I’ll have enough free time to do it. I actually had enough money for a change, but there was too much stuff going on this month to get away. I’m bound and determined that 2015 will mark my return.

    You’re right to wait until you’re fit to do it. I felt like a pile of death warmed over afterwards, and I was perfectly healthy going in. To be fair, though, I didn’t follow the example of your lovely wife and doggedly forced myself to stay awake the entire time so I could write that stupidly long review. I hope the two people that read it enjoyed my suffering. (Actually, considering the site, they probably did since that’s kind of our thing around here.)

    No Ken for a few days. I hope he’s not sitting in his trailer with no power; I’ve seen the horrid weather they’re having up his way. I also hope his pipes didn’t freeze, since that’s a regular winter worry for him.

    I don’t think any of us live in a place that’s currently not cold (if not insanely cold), so I hope everyone is staying safe and warm.

    Why didn’t this occur to me sooner? He’s probably been recovering from B-Fest last weekend. At least, I hope that’s it instead of “sitting in the cold dark with no water.”

    His drains (though not pipes) froze up Thursday night before the Fest and colder weather was coming in after I flew out again, so I am a bit concerned myself. Hopefully he is just cocooning up recovering.
