I’m more of a Morticia Addams man,but there’s no doubt Herman married above his station. Aristocrat Grandpa must have been miffed when his daughter married a…well, you can’t call Herman a self-made man, but you know what I mean.

There’s a picture floating around the web of Lily wearing little more than a spider web bra and panties. I’ve seen it suggested that this is a fake photo, probably because it’s quite racy for the time. However, Ms. De Carlo had done some nudie pics back before this, so I don’t see that she wouldn’t have done a picture like that. Don’t know what the show’s producers thought of it, though.

As in all things, cosplay isn’t as new as we think it is. Here’s a pic of Ms. De Carlo back in the ’40s.

    I realize the short running times now (because of all the increased amounts of commercial time) don’t allow for great TV themes and credit sequences anymore, but man, I miss that.

    If you go by fan-fics Marilyn could be a MOD. One story says that she was the daughter of Serena from Bewitched. The writer ruins it (In my opinion) by making the her father “Q” from Star Trek; it gets REALLY icky after that.

    I think I like Morticia over Lily, but Yvonne over Carolyn, if that makes sense.

    I went and found that picture Ken mentioned. Compared to her other photos, it seems a bit too cleaned up or modern to be real; the image is really crisp. The outfit seems like a fairly modern style as well. Still, considering her nudes, anything is possible.

    Yes, the ‘sexy Lily’ photo is quite obviously a fake. I had not seen it, and I looked it up to figure out if such a shot were real or not. It’s not. Just note the cut of the panties, which are more in style with the 1980’s than anything even Fredrick’s of Hollywood was offering in 1965. Note too, that isn’t her body, the lines are all wrong on the stomach.

    DeCarlo was an artist’s model before becoming an actress. While she, like every starlet, had some pinup shots taken by studio photographers, I’m fairly certain any nude shots of hers date back to her modelling days, and were never intended to be seen by the public.

    It’s pretty cute. There were several halloween themed pinups taken by studio photographers during the 40’s. Among the ones I posted this year on ASOC, even Nancy Gates, Debbie Reynolds, and a young Eva Gabor were seen!

    I would like to know whose body was used in the spiderweb one, though…
