My lack of posting is lame, but a variety of activities (Mom in town, Cubs playing well, birthday parties, the occasional movie, impromptu weekend trips) have eat into my time something fierce–just the Cubs eat up nearly three hours a day.   Plus it’s been crazy busy at work.  I’m hoping to get at least some blogging up, though, so keep an eye out.

And…argh!  I’ve had the most recent season sets of Deadwood and The Shield on hold for months, and they BOTH CAME IN THIS MORNING!!  Plus Black Snake Moan!  Good grief, that’s like forty hours of material, what with commentaries and all.  Egad.

    There’s been a let-up in your blog posting? Seriously, I hadn’t noticed. New reviews, lots of gloating about fleecing the readership. Looks like business as usual here. (^-^)

  • Well, in a better world, I’d blog *something* every weekday (leaving the weekends for..stuff, including, hopefully, working on a review). So when I don’t get any blogging done for two or three days, I get itchy.

    Of course, some days I see little to blog about, others I lack the time to do so. Moreover, some blog posts threaten to become articles of their own, and then they eat up time better afforded to movie reviews.

    It’s a work in progress.

    I’m interested to hear your thoughts on Deadwood when you’re through with it. Though I enjoyed it, fan reaction to the last season was mixed, to say the least.
