Join us Friday night in Rockwall, suburban Dallas, at Stately Petersen Manor for our kickoff to the, what, 8th annual T-Fest? I’ll be picking one of the movies that night, I promise it’s pretty entertaining. I imagine we’ll get going more or less by 7:00. Sandy has a Polish war movie he wants to show. If we’re lucky, he’ll do a running historical explication through the whole thing.
The Fest itself will be Saturday, probably starting around 10:00 AM. It’s a very heavy Sandy line-up, so be warned. As usually, this will run all day, maybe until about midnight, with a decently sized dinner break for yakking.
As well, we will be running a longish slate of goofy ’80s supernatural horror movies on Sunday. Should be fun; lots of overaged teens, boobs, fake gore, radical dumbness, etc. I mean, I’ve personally few of the films, but c’mon, they are ‘8os horror movies.
Anyone who wants to attend some or all of the above is welcome. Rough accommodations at Sandy’s place are most likely available if people just want to stay there.
