Okay, the site works and everything, and I can read the MOTD and VC postings and such. At the bottom of each page, though, where the comments should be, is just a blank space. No box to make comment, no other comments to read (although the space at the bottom of the page grows as comments are made by others). I asked Ken about it and he tells me no one else has complained of this phenomenon, so, is it my computer that's the problem? Is it something on the site that only I can pick up on because I have older equipment?

It's an old computer (re-built too, so the innards come from a different machine than the case). Problem is, it CAN'T upgrade or take on new softwear. If the new Disqus is invisible, it looks like my interaction around here just got cut way down!

I'm having a similar problem. I can read the comments alright but I can't make any comments myself on the blog posts.

I wanted to watch some bits of Piranha on YouTube, now apparently owned by Google. This required me (after about half a friggin' hour of noodling around) to establish my THIRD Google account with separate passwords, etc.,, so there isn't crossover between their many 'services.'

Let's just say it's a dinosaur. I got my scanner sometime around 2001. I'd guess the computer components are less than ten years older than that.
