Commercials for his music were ubiquitous during the hours that b monster movies were usually broadcast and the one thing that a monster fan was sure to learn from all his hours of monster watching was that Slim Whitman sold more records than Elvis and The Beatles combined (I never checked on that to see if it was true). RIP sir.
