Just browsing through Rotten Tomatoes leads me to notice numerous comparissons between the new M. Night Shyamalan/Will Smith vanity pic After Earth and Jabootu fave Battlefield Earth. One huge difference, though, is that at least BE is a real hoot to watch, while I couldn't imagine sitting through what is described as a tedious and boring vehicle for Smith's son to star in.

In fact, I just might re-watch BE tonight. Anybody else getting in the mood?

I've been accused of doing things I didn't do, but would have- if I'd'a thought about 'em first.

Just seems to me that there are lots of smart shoot-em up action films I'd rather see. Plus shoving in a homage to 'Wraith of Khan' just makes me wish I was watching that much better film.
