We get an episode tonight, and then the season finale is next Wednesday. The enjoyable Human Target is doing OK in the ratings, but certainly not well enough that it’s a slam dunk for renewal.
It’s a classic bubble show, and whether it’s renewed or not probably depends on whether Fox thinks it will build a larger audience if it returns. With 24 on the way out, Fox may be a bit more likely to keep it on, unless they have another action show in the pipe. In any case, it certainly wouldn’t hurt, if you like the show, to tune in these last two weeks.
Speaking of, I’ve only seen one episode of F/X’s Justifed, but I really like the mix of Timothy “Deadwood” Oliphant and the wryness of Elmore Leonard. I’ll probably wait to catch up with the show until it’s out on DVD, but I really look forward to doing so.
