    They should have had the octopus reaching to get the whiskey rather than the guy. Even giant octopi love Jemeson!

    Perhaps Mr. Jameson had enough whiskey in him that the octopus couldn’t distinguish him from the barrel.

  • I ask in all seriousness, why is there only ONE movie to date (of which I know) which features both a giant octopus AND a giant spider?

    Kudos if you can name it.

  • Thief of Bagdad? Did they establish the octopus as ‘giant,’ or was it merely big? It’s hard to tell, down in that pit. I’d say it was the same size as the spider, roughly, and while the spider was giant, I’m not sure that constitutes being ‘giant’ for an octopus.

    Or maybe you’re thinking of another movie.

    Frankenstein Conquers the World. The octopus in KK vs. G looks like it just crawled out of the nearby ocean. I don’t know where the hell the octopus from FCW came from. They are all in a forest in the moutains somewhere.

    How big is giant? The film Mad Monster Party? featured an oversized octopus and spider. I was tempted to say The Magic Serpent, but I remembered it had no octopus (but it DID have a giant FLYING spider)!

    Well, there was that lake the octopus dragged Frankenstein into, I guess we’re to assume it came from there. I know it makes no sense, and that may be why the scene was 86’d.
