Here's to a great 2019 (2020 almost here!) for everyone. I have to admit, I don't love the two Jim Hensen fantasy films. They certainly have their fans, though.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Back to work, but hey, New Years coming up. And then, before we know it, B-Fest. Yikes! This one has Bernie Casey, but unfortunately the film isn't as strong as Blacula, and he can't do what William Marshall did there.
This is obviously done by the same person who made yesterday's poster, and if anything I like it even more. The presence of Pam Grier certainly helps. I got to see the original Miracle on 34th Street on the big screen last night. What a great movie.
That poster would have definitely inspired me to buy a ticket. It certainly indicates that the film, while it has its cheesy elements, is going for a bit more depth and class than most Blaxploitation horror flicks. Again, though, much of the success of those efforts rests on the broad shoulders of William Marshall.
