Honestly, she's not that bad of an actress. It's more an issue of her personal life being in shambles.

She's a walking advertisement against alcoholism. She's 25 but looks 40.

On the plus side, she's been able to stay out of trouble long enough that she might actually finish her current sentence without adding to it.

I wonder if Britany Spears is worried or relieved, meanwhile, to know Lohan's self-destructive activity has proved bad enough to capture the headlines that used to revolve around the singer. [Interesting -?- factoid: Spears wanted to do a Playboy spread, but Hef turned her down, sighting that she needed to get her act together FIRST! Lohan actually got a pictorial in the infamous skin rag, and supposedly the sales numbers were pretty high for that issue. Say what you will about Playboy (I certainly do), but Lohan has secured a weird sort of immortality that Spears can't claim. Lohan will be remembered by perverts long after Spears' Belvue-bait actions have been forgotten. ----On a side note, I saw a picture of Spears prior to her apparent mental meltdown, and I was positively shocked to see how attractive the girl was Once Upon A Time. Lohan, on the other hand, I've always found to be rather plain.]
